Streets off Serangoon
Little India: where you head to get your fix of insomnia-driven shopping, inspiring vegetarian food and late night dim sum. A neighbourhood charged with human energy, laden with the smell of jasmine garlands and ringing with the sounds from the temples. Backpackers cross paths with grocery-shopping migrant workers and locals, while cafes serving craft coffee sprout right next to jewellers decked out in yellow gold.

“Streets Off Serangoon” is a walking tour that invites you to on a cosy, hands-on tour of the neighbourhood. From grocers to hotels, from churches to mosques, from art deco hotels to hidden street art, rediscover the stories...we're share some secrets you've never known about Little India.

  • Out of respect for people who are punctual, we won't wait for latecomers.

Starting point: Little India MRT, ending point: Dunlop Street

An intimate, casual and approachable experience:
  • Prior understanding of architecture is not required
  • We start our walk with a friendly group introduction
  • The group size is limited to 8, to ensure quality interaction
A bumpy walk...
Unlike our Bugis and Bras Basah walks, this walking route is challenging because there will be limited space on the sidewalks and you will have to watch for traffic and the crowd. This specific walk is unsuitable for groups with young children or prams.

This tour is also not designed around the main tourist spots. We won't be featuring the Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple, spice shops, places where you can get henna drawings, Mustafa...
